hello i would be known in the world of vanadiel as tpel from diablos server. i think this is an awesome move! this really opens up the promathia missons. while some of them will still be difficult and may not be possible for one to solo it WILL make them considerably easier i think i see what SE is doing here. SE IMO is (and will be) pulling out more and more stops as the release date for FFIV draws closer and closer in an attempt to keep all of the people from flocking to the new game all at once. thats my take on it.

Greeting LBR, Zinjuku here, Lv75 BLM & Lv66 SMN from the Pandemonium now Asura Server. From a player who hasn't done the majority of the missions out there inc CoP (only at the Diabolos fight currently), I have 2 sides about this update. On one hand of course it's good for those who hasn't able to complete CoP yet (inc myself) to get a chance to make it through much easier to get endgame and focus on the storylines. But on the other hand, it would be nice to play these mission within that challenge of Level Cap to prove ourselves we can accomplish it all without the need of toning down it even though SE have toned down CoP before (if I remember correctly). Guess it comes down to finding the right party/alliance/LS to go through the mission like any other missions and most of all have fun going for it. Its hard for me play online these days with real life and all also especially since most have either already done it all or concentrating level subjobs to Lv49 for future level caps. Completing these missions would be my greatest achivement since I know that these storylines would be the best & most fulfilling aspect within the entire game. Sorry if this is too long and thanks for reading. Yours truly Zinjuku from the Asura Server

hello LBR and PFA: when i was doing CoP i was a young whm, and i started doing around the time that SE took off the level lost from dieing.. this was a big relief, especailly since the LS i was with, was very critical about everything, and tend to do blame... as you can imagine as whm doing CoP, and having to deal with Blame ( CoP ) wasn't very fun.. in fact there were alot of times i said that SE made CoP way too hard, and im sure theres alot of mages out there that would agree with me... so when i heard about SE taking off the level restriction i felt it was a good thing.. i was blown away by the idea of taking off the level restriction for the fights too... i know a few areas that one has to go through were even with out level restriction its not all that easy... PS i just hope with the new changes that its not too easy, and i hope no one ever has to go through the hell i did way back when.. sincerely, Morg

Hello, hosts of Limit Break Radio and Pet Food Alpha. I am Samonez of the Phoenix Server. I started playing this game at the end of March of 2009, and I beat the COP storyline at the beginning of April 2010, and just this week, I beat Storm of Fate. When I look back on my journey through the COP storyline (Covering 2 statics, many pickup groups, several backtracks, and 3 linkshells) two things immediately come to mind: 1. My god, this stuff is HARD!!!! ;_; 2. Holy crap, this stuff is EPIC!!!!! ^_^ I played through the majority of COP on my main job, Blue Mage. One thing I particularly remember from COP is that the moment I said I was a BLU, the people in my group were thankful for it, because BLU rips COP in half. Sad as it is, BLU isn't in demand beyond that for most things. But I digress. one thing I remember from the static I joined with the static I was with that eventually went to the end of COP was the fact I died more than anyone else in that static, and I didn't care. it was so hard, it was so fun. Particularly Promyvion Vahzl and the ever dreaded Airship Fight. It was some of the most fun and challenging things I've done in this game. and I'm sad to see it go. despite how hard it was, despite how frustrating it was, despite how soul crushing it was, I look back on it with happy thoughts. And let's face it, as a BLU, getting those spells from the various mobs of Sea, and than UNLEASHING them upon enemies.....good times, good times. ^_^ so yeah, sad to see it go, though the thought of getting TP moves from Empty type mobs as level 76-80 BLU spells is, honestly, something I hope happens. Thank you, Samonez, Blue Mage Extraordinare

Dear Hosts of Limit Break Radio, With the next update as we all know, the level caps for the Chains of Promathia missions and areas will be removed. There are many opinions surrounding whether this is a bad move by SE or a good one. Here's my thoughts on the situation. The reason I was always under the impression of as to why CoP had set level caps on certain areas was to make it so that everyone could enjoy the content. Starting with Promyvions, players at level 30 could start on these missions with no problems. Now, there are very few people just starting out as new players and, with several friends and LS-mates who would rather not experience the "pain and agony" of doing CoP over again, finding assistance for these missions is almost as difficult as completing them. Even with all the changes to the missions, such as difficulty adjustments and auctionable battlefield items, the desire to do these difficult missions over again for new players eventually runs dry, especially when buying gear for the missions comes into play (Level Sync did not fully fix this "issue"). With no level caps, the missions will be easier on the minds of those who have done them before and are helping their friends and LS-mates. Older players can now exact some revenge (at least that's the way I'm gonna look at it) on those difficult battlefields and laugh as the monster is no longer the daunting foe 5+ levels higher. New players get to experience this expanision in its entirety and benefit from having access to new endgame areas. To those who complain about this killing their favorite expansion, think about what exactly made this your favorite expansion. If you liked it for the story, this update will not change the story. In fact, now more people can actually experience the story the same way you did. If you liked it for the battlefield's difficulty, let me ask you this: Did you like failing missions over and over? Did you like looking for help and finding few interested? Those who haven't completed these missions would rather not have to experience the feeling of helplessness as a specific mission(s) keeps beating them down. Not everyone likes to fail over and over for a chance at success. Whilst the success is made sweeter with each failure, failure has a way of demoralizing people. (SPOILER ALERT... if it matters) Remember, the last affected fight is Airship and it was capped at 60. Even uncapped, it would still not be easy to win. All the remaining fights already were uncapped. So Tenzen, the pots, the tower climbs, and Promathia are still not affected by the decision to remove the caps. Yes these fights will be affected by the general level cap increase, but so would every expanision's battlefields and yet no one is complaining about those fights. In conclusion (and a tl;dr for Kallo :-P), I for one am happy to see these caps come off, even after completing these missions already. I for one can't wait to exact some revenge on the battlefields that taunted me. While it does disappoint me that there will no longer be any new "looks of terror" when the words "Airship fight" are mentioned, its good to know that it won't be a hinderance to enjoying this awesome game we all play and love. Keep up the good work, and I apologize if I ended up being more long-winded than you wanted. Pwrgamerx, Bahamut Server 75 DRG, SAM

Hello i am Corres from Ragnarok, and i would like to give my opinion to the Levelcap removal of the COP-areas in the next Update of Final Fantasy XI. Chains of Promathia is an Expansion that a lot of People really liked when they got through it, and not only because of the Story it was more about the Challenge and the People you join to get down the Twilight-God. Now Square wants to lift that? make it easier? - There are a lot of people that complain about the absolute "nerf" of this expansion and don't see the good sides of it: Players will now be able to finally get ahead in this Addon. There are a ton of players who don't have Sea acces and it is not because the Missions are so brutal hard; no it's because they can't find anyone to help them or anyone that needs the same Mission. It's not that hard if you have Experienced Players getting along with you, but starting this Expansion without anybody in your linkshell needing this anymore, sucks. Shouting for 5 Hours in Whitegate for the Minotaur is absolutely not fun at all. Lifting the Levelcap of the fights will finally help people get along the Promys or even the Mammets. Now people may argue that COP is not fun when changes like these occur, but be honest: we don't remember exactly what we had to do for "this" mission; we remember the people we had. We Remember the fun we had in Fights even if we died. It was a challenge that was harder than Zilart (lol) but still easy doable. The main Concern is from the veterans mostly that COP will be "duoable" maybe even Soloable later on. I See what they mean but honestly i don't care. I should have the same challaenge as they had back in the days? This Expansion is 6 years old and people who are still not done yet are begging to finally get a chance to even see Al'Taieu. As for me i don't care about the cutscenes i can watch them later on i just want to FINISH this Expansion that is all i want. And i think there are a lot more people thinking this way. i am Doing TOAU with Linkshell Members together and it is an absolut awesome feeling progressing in the game with the people you have as friends. So i am absolutely looking forward for this change and hopfully by then i will get past the Minotaur. The game we're playing is a mmorpg and if People insist of not changing "this" and "that" we weren't where we are now, that simple. thank you for reading this email and keep on rocking with your shows love to listen to them. ~Corres

This is Covenant @ Carbuncle. Always considered my self a nOOb, though I've been in game since day 1 of the U.S. Release. Anyway, as my comment stated, I always assumed that once a player reached a point in the storyline, they'd be rewarded with a "charm". The charm would counteract the effect of the magic seal in promy areas and allow player full job use for farming items and camping NM's. Screw new players attempting the promathia and people helping them. All members of a party would be capped as usual. However solo players would be zoned in new/different sections. I did like some people post that they should up the reward either of increase exp for people helping other to complete the CoP missions. I'd go further Including item rewards such as synth items, eolith/synergism items, empty nm pop item, etc. He'll, why not create a new tier system for shade gear with new bonuses for use in promy...like increase movement speed, decrease weapon delay, no mp perp for diabolos. Here's an idea for any mission bcnm's... How about granting people who completed mission and who help others, a small selection of self use temp items. For examples, mages get mp food, ethers, and mp gain items. Warriors, food, toss items....well basically things given during assaults. I'd not too certain about coming on your show to offer my 2cents.

...and tell us what you think of the proposed changes to the Chains of Promathia expansion. Vital statistics: Name: Volkai Server: Phoenix 75s: WAR, BLU CoP Mission: Three Paths I am cautiously optimistic about the proposed changes. If they are a positive or negative change will depend largely on which areas they change the monster levels in, and by how much. I have in the past had significant troubles finding groups to do CoP missions with me, in no small part due to the level caps, but also because, since I came late to the CoP game, many players were sick of doing CoP missions after helping numerous other people through. The removing of level caps is a much less significant change now than it would have been before Level Sync (and gear sync) existed, but with the higher potency of high-level gear and abilities, it will probably make things easier overall, unless the monster levels increase by an inordinate amount in mission-relevant areas. In addition, while many battlefield fights will likely be higher level fights now, they will also become easier due to the increased potency of higher level spells and abilities, as well as the addition of job-specific merits to the arsenal players can bring to bear. I can't help but wonder how hard The Savage will be when you can bring AM II to bear against Ouryu... but on the other hand, I've found Diabolos Prime a significantly harder fight than the Darkness Named 40cap Diabolos, and I can't help but wonder if Darkness Named is about to become the harder of the two. I hope this summation of my views on the upcoming CoP changes will prove helpful in deciding whom to have as a guest host for the upcoming 'Promathia Unchained' episode. -Alex

Hi Guys My name is Vorzheva and I am from the Cerberus server. I like the idea of unchaining COP’s. I have never been able to get a group of 6 to get through this expansion (Currently at the Mammets fight) and would really like to see the rest of the story and get the item for completing it. I have 3 close friends that I will probably run through this with when the patch hits, it will be nice not to have to look for others to do this or finding a time that works for 6 people. I think the people that are against it because they have beaten it and want the challenge to remain don’t really have a good arguement. The people that usually make this argument are done with the area’s and the missions and it won’t affect their experience in game. However if more people can complete COP’s then there will be more players available to do things like Sea, Limbus, Diabolos prime, and high lv ENMs. For me I think it would be great to try some of these things I haven’t had a chance to see or try. I also like the idea of retuning the area’s and giving us more reason to go there. I find in general a lot of people have either never been so some of these area’s or have only been there once or twice and then only to walk to the NMs or the arenas for the mission fights. I am not really into the end game scene at all and am looking forward to having more things to do with my friends, as this will be able to fill a few nights of play time. Thanks! Vorzheva

Hey! This is my first time writing into the show so please bear with me if I make any...mistakes. On the subject of the upcoming Promathia changes I have...mixed views. Firstly I've been ecstatic since they annouced the removal of the level cap in Promathia Areas at Vanafest 2010. I've always personally saw the areas as underused but at the same time thought them to be some of the most beautiful areas the game has to offer, if anything the change would allow for more exploration in these areas. It also helps motivate people into taking part in the content available currently in these areas, the level cap I feel demotivates people into doing the content. While the rewards are fantastic if you look at Swift Belt or Soboro Sukehiro...minor stuff like Stone Gorgot or Map Quests while useful are seen as too much work for too little return and being able to solo them would I feel help boost population in these zones as well as desire to obtain these items. For the mission side of the patch...it isn't something I'm honestly bothered by, I can easily see both sides of the arguement. On one side we have the people who have yet to beat the fights and like most missions in this game...people are reluctant to go back once they've done it before and so because of this people will never get through these fantastic missions unless SE makes a change like this. On the other side...I agree it takes the challange out of it but...so what? These fights have been tweaked so much I dont see why something like this isn't expected. I do agree something like WoW's Heroic Raids which is essentially a Hard Mode and then give players for beating the more difficult version a better reward would be nice but...at this point I'd much rather see new storylines, new continents and better challanges than be stuck whallowing in the fact something I did years ago isn't the same. The patch I believe will be a good one, I'll personally be rushing to Vahzl the second the server comes up to get my final map and after I'll be off to Abyssea because while I love the lore of this game, the missions and their tales...we should focus ourselves on what the future holds and not the losses of the past.

Dear Hosts I have played the game for near 4 years now if not more, and I find myself in two minds about the adjustments put forward by SE. On my first Char I got as far as promyvion-vhazl before I left to pursue other things. Low and behold two weeks later I hear the news of the XIV release and instantly curse at my lack of 75 or completing any such storyline. When I came back I originally planned to follow in anieros steps of being a DRK master. This changed at about 40 as i found monk to be way to much fun. I quickly reached 75 and am now in a position where i feel the drive to do storylines and get endgame access, but I fear as I work full time getting storylines done require time i dont have. So my thoughts are that having done Some CoP and now upto ouryu (wooooo easy dragon killing happy fun time), that removal of the level cap is needed for people like me who just dont have time to go, find friends or willing canno...*ahem* helpers that this is a great way to open access to an area that would of been off limits to me for a long long long time. It also means if what i read is true that the sea area itself could still be a challenge for those at 99 as mob placement and level will be readjusted. Also I have friends struggling to get further are those past CoP dont weant to go back and redo old missions. Not everyone does that but they do struggle and i do help when I can, because CoP missions are fun. All though I do regret not getting all missions done before the cap was lifted, and it does remove some of the challenge that made it exciting. I have confidence in SE though. I feel that no matter what is put forth there will always be a challenge. There will always be those Enemies that stump us. There will always be that horrible, useless feeling you get as you see alliances wipe in dynamis Xarcabard. We will always live in the shadows of something in this game. To recondition old areas with new mobs might seem cheap. I'm sure SE wish they could do more but I still speak with people who play on the PS2, adding new areas might make them s'plode LOL. Think though we could go back to the day's of people living in fear of Tremor ram type mobs in konschtat highlands. Or maybe there is a new future on our horizen perhaps it doesnt have to end with the release of XIV. I don't know what SE will do next but thats what i find exciting. So whatever they do I say bring it on. I'll be ready. My friend will be at my side with me willing to see the next challange through. Sincerely Shand (quetzgar) P.S. Sorry if this letter seems a bit long winded and rambly

Hey there LBR Crew, This is Scuro, and I've been playing since N.A release date, and was trying to do CoP's back in the day when you actually lost exp if you died in the fights (Scary, I know I died 35 times in Promies alone! And have done Promies like a surplus of 89 times) I was also doing and completed CoP's when they lessened the difficulty, and now.... It's about time they make this coming update! Most people consider CoP's as a milestone in the adventures and accomplishments of an adventurer. I mean I still open up my inventory just too see my Rajas ring on my finger and feel proud sporting it. Yet this expansion is old and unfortunatly not many have had the pleasure to absorb the tasks and trials of this expansion, the storyline, or the rewards. I was originally one of the people that said, "Keep it as it is because it builds character." Yet seeing the fluxuation of members due too the new Final Fantasy, and soon when it does come out how hard the memership will be hit then. Already because of the difficulty of certain fights and how hard it was to get the members to do it then, many people have sworn that they will never do them again upon completing them. When before it was something everyone wanted and in a way was expected to go through, now the greatest difficulty in the CoP obstacle is the pulling of people's teeth to go to the event rather then actually having the skill to accomplish the quests! Now a neat idea for those that lets say have charisma and charm +1 to convince other people in our society to join up with ya. Why not make the boss fights something you can do caped and at the diffculty it is now, OR! Do it uncaped!? Much like Avatars whether you do the mini fights or you do the prime fights, the same idea applied to CoP. Get a prominent character in the story line to give you some sort of temporary key item (much like the mini tuning forks and tuning forks for avatar fights) and be able to use it to do the caped fights if you have the friends, the time, and want the challenge that was back in the day. Or just do it as it is going to be, with no cap. I think this would be a good option for those wanting to keep the excitement, yet not single people out. Although I know SE is clearly focused on eliminating level caps, too an extent they are what makes the game challenging. Yet at the sametime, not being able to get people to help you shouldn't be the reason why you can't progress in the storyline. Also for those that have had their characters hacked or quit and come back, nothing is more discouraging then trying to get people to do CoPs for you again. I've seen many people when they loose their characters not consider the fact they lost relic, or all the millions of dollars put into gear, they come back and say "Damnit! I have to do CoPs again!" So thats my opinion on this update, that its about time SE gives the game to the people who are not socially fortunate, and also my idea to keep the thrill in the fights! Forgive the novel I'm delivering, yet I always seem to be doing this anyway, I stopped trying to write quickies. -Scuro The Galkan Pumpkin Head Bandit

Hello LBR crew, My personal opinion on the uncapping of the CoP battlefields is positive overall. I understand that those who have completed these missions years ago when it saw little to no "nerfing" will be upset with this update since they did it once the hard way and now it's less of a challenge. For players like myself who have yet to complete the missions, it's a welcome change that opens the door for me to finally finish them. Because of the challenging nature of the battlefields, many players refuse to go back and help newer players even with the experience point reward. I can think of no other mission line that so forcefully imposes this mindset. CoP was unique in how hard it was - which many people may, in fact, like - but there are also a lot who just want to get it done once and never have to do it again, refusing to lend their experience to those who still need the fights. To those who say that beating CoP shows how endgame-capable a player is, that may be true now. But with the level cap rising and new endgame events being added, the current endgame will no longer be endgame. And even then, it's not like those who haven't finished CoP are *un*-fit to participate in endgame. **I will agree that the challenging nature of the fights and the tight leadership and cooperation necessary for them is great training for endgame events, but I don't think that CoP is the only place one can acquire such training. To wrap up, part of me does empathize with those who fought the harder missions and now feel betrayed. But the majority of me believes that such is life when it comes to an online game. Much has and will continue to change and evolve. How many times have people been upset over updates that have made things easier? This is just another one of those examples. Thank you for reading my e-mail even though it is a tad long. LBR is awesome and I look forward to more community involvement like this in the future! -Theodus of Phoenix

Dear PFA/LBR, Firstly, let me introduce myself. I'm Livlovburndie from the Leviathan server. I've been playing since the PS2 Launch, being a casual player. Being that school and other events get in my way, I have yet to complete the Chains of Promethia missions, even though I've greatly wanted to. I've gone to mission 2-3, and that being quite hard to do. Trying to complete the missions was a hassle for me as I couldn't get a static as my play times are varying, and attempting to make a group via shouts and with friends is almost never successful. However, I managed to get through the promies this way, so I was greatful that was possible. I love the story so far, and greatly want to advance. Now that the level cap has been removed, I can't wait to get back into these missions. I haven't been playing FFXI for the past year due to school, but I'm activating my account in June. I thought that the level cap increase was a great reason to come back, and now this is icing on the cake for me. Being a DRG main, I'm eager to try soloing these missions. DRG soloing has been a passion of mine, and now I can attempt to do these missions with it. I sure I won't be able to solo all of the missions, but I know I can get a lot of the lower level missions out of the way. I can always just ask a friend for help if I need it. That minotaur needs to go down. :P Not only this aspect is causing excitement for me to get back in the game. The adding or revamping the monsters in the CoP areas is intriguing to me. Since I'm only on 2-3, I've had very little time to explore the CoP areas. I can't wait to get to explore these areas by myself, or maybe in a party as much of the community believes these will be new camps at 75+. The image of partying on hippogryphs is something I could have never dreamed of before. I feel whenever I run though the Lufaise Meadows, I never see anyone. I think that this change will allow these areas to be used more than they currently are. Anyway, I can't wait for this. Thanks for the reading this, and I hope to hear from you all for many years to come. Livlovburndie 75DRG 75WHM

{/salute}-ations to the cast and crew present at LBR. I am Tamarsamar (pronounced TAM-ar-SAM-ar) of the Carbuncle server, substituting for Peter (pronounced Pea-Tear) of the Quahog server for today's segment of "Grinds My Gears." You know what really Grinds My Gears? Removing the level cap from the Chains of Promathia battlefields. There have been numerous changes made to CoP in the past, all of them welcome adjustments designed to alleviate artificial difficulty. There was the first adjustment that brought about numerous small tweaks to CoP, such as changing the Rare and Ex tags on certain mission-related items, and adjusting mob placement in certain zones. While this initial update was met with some controversy, those sane among us still recognized CoP as being anything but a cakewalk. Later on, there was the universally-acclaimed Level Sync system, which made buying entire armor sets solely for the sake of completing a handful of missions no longer an absolute necessity. And finally, it was announced at Vanafest 2010 that the Chains of Promathia "dungeon" areas would have their level caps "abolished" in this upcoming update. All of these things were measures of reducing artificial difficulty from CoP while still preserving the real challenge of the missions. Not anymore, however. Upon hearing the unthinkable, that the level caps would also be removed from the CoP mission battlefields (or "boss fights," as I like to liken them to), CoP was found being reduced from the most challenging yet rewarding mission lines in the game, to a laughable cakewalk. Nearly six years' worth of collective strategy and collaborative effort put in to beating the CoP battlefields, all now put down the drain in favor of the new dominant strategy, "have a higher-level friend hold your hand through it all." This greatly offends someone like myself, a relative lowbie player whose highest job level is 40 at the moment, by sending the message that S-E just does not care about anything else any more, that CoP is no longer a mission line to be experienced, but simply a means to an end. The message that is being sent is basically that S-E is taking a deplorable, almost BG-like stance with their game, saying that "the only thing that matters any more in this game is just hurrying to the end as fast as possible. Screw challenge, screw fun, screw enjoyability, if you're not at the end game then we could care less about you." Those at BG would most likely applaud this stance, if they weren't too busy whining about something else, I'm sure. It is now going to be impossible for me to experience this mission line like those who have completed it in the past have. Sure, with level sync I could try to self-impose a challenge to completing my boss fights, but realistically, *come on*! Nobody in their right *mind* is going to want to make getting through CoP, or anything, for that matter, any more difficult than it has to be. And S-E is lowering the bar to braindead. Now, S-E could do something stupid like increase the levels of the bosses in question for the sake of maintaining some level of challenge . . . that does not, however, change the need for high-level player to do the missions . . . in fact, it would only mandate it! I'd love to continue, but if I did for much longer, I'd probably get an aneurysm at how removing the level cap from CoP battlefields just Grinds My Gears. (P.S. Apologies to everybody involved for the Family Guy reference.)

Okay, as some may know i had to restart a fresh character, and ive taken the warrior route this time (rawr) the removal of the cop level cap imho is the best thing SE could have done. Why do i say this? its simple there are ALOT of people who flat out refuse to do certain missions regardless how much they love your friendship or the amount of violence you promise to inflict if they dont. (kinda like ZM4 but i digress), removal of a level cap means for all intents and purposes we can go through them with as little trouble as humanly possible (plus our awesome gear doesnt get gimped to the status of leather armor). Now dont get me wrong im not ignoring the fact they've said levels will be adjusted but in all honesty ive seen far FAR too many people complain how the empty are a wasted mob family (very true though after promys you never see them again xD) so this is a chance to revist and play with the horrid looking critters. Anyways enough from Chii take care~ Chiibi

Hey LBR, My opinion on the lifting of the level cap might be radical and controversial but three known fact should define CoP as it is now: #1. It delivers a challenge to players who persue it and want to complete it. #2. There's no other story line that's more "loved to be hated" than CoP and link shells other wise help there members for social reasons. #3. The four floors is a good place to gain experience at level 30 without level syncing. I think killing the level cap would distroy the barrier CoP puts on Vanadiel and the control of noob traffic already affecting this MMO environment. New players are already getting help out of SMN burn partys and reaching level 75 faster than ever. Where will the challenge be now? It's hard as it is playing in a normal party set-up now these days. Is the new add-on/ expansion the reason for all this? Are the reasons for the lifting of the levelcap on CoP due to the over all cap increase for jobs? I personaly think that is the reason the COP level cap should remain. Why does SE take pity on low level player if not all players because a story line is challenging? FYI, I still haven't completed CoP but I look forward to it. I don't want to rely on any changes (nerfing). They made Promathia easier already and I think *that* gave me a free pass I don't think I deserve. My regards to those who work hard and play hard. Find fun in anything and everything you do! Do it for the youth! Psxpert (Fairy~ Sylph)

I can only hope with the upcoming changes CoP will not become too easy. I mean, come on, CoP used to be this undefeatable fortress, and everyone who got it done was in a way a hero. But what will happen now? Uncapped areas, piss easy bossfights you can pretty much solo at 99? What is this? World of Warcraft? Don't get me wrong, some changes to CoP needed to be made, but with this upcoming FFXI will become more of a regular MMORPG. Following the CoP thought I always considered FFXI to be this one effin hard game you need to commit so much for to get stuff done. I mean, with CoP being too easy they take away the fact that you need commitment and a lot of effort to get things here done. Some may argue it is too much, but I think when you finally got stuff done, you feel more rewarded than ever. Let's just hope SE does the right things. Eruainur of Cerberus
